I found a workaround but it's annoying as hell and just disabling things before level loads is a easy solution. Only about 4 or 5 of the bosses in this game I would say are really consistently all that difficult, and so an optional hard mode would be nice.Game crashs on level load are to blame on the games internal checks which do happen on level loads.Īnd it's also to blame on the users bc they did not read the instructions. I would like to see harder versions of existing bosses you can fight, perhaps including them in the NG++ routes or the like or as an optional fight after beating them "normally" the first time. ![]() FromSoftware tends to do pretty well with their balancing in my experience, and ultimately there's always going to be a balancing act between changes "ruining the experience" for some versus "improving the experience" for others.įor my part as part of the relatively "hardcore FromSoftware fan base" that plays their games in a way that is very challenging and gains satisfaction mainly from that, I would personally prefer that they eventually add something like the "Inner" boss variants they added to Sekiro in a patch after release. Personally I don't think that the nerfs are worth being worried about too much. ![]() FromSoftware isn't really good at that sort of thing, and tend to want just one major definitive version of their games at any given moment. ![]() A "difficulty toggle" would be silly when they are making balance tweaks, though I do think the option to run an older version of the single-player would have been nice (through Steam betas or whatever). Unfortunately there's no perfect solution in cases like this.
